Description/Responsibilities
You will develop software to integrate Photeon's mobile interactivity products with the television world. You will be part of an international team and involved in the full development cycle, from the definition of the use cases and the requirements, through to the development and launch of the application.

Experience/Skills

• Excellent programming skills
• Capabilities to develop complete products starting from a concept, including proper definition of the Use Cases and the requirements
• Programming languages: Java, C, C++, C#
• Ability to work with high autonomy
• An experience with analogue and digital television technologies is a plus

Description/Responsibilities
You will develop the web application empowering Photeon's mobile interactivity products with the strength of the web. You will be part of an international team and involved in the full development cycle, from the definition of the use cases and the requirements, through to the development and launch of the application.

Experience/Skills

• Excellent programming skills
• Capabilities to develop complete products starting from a concept, including proper definition of the Use Cases and the requirements
• Programming languages: Java, C, C++, PHP, Python
• Knowledge of Linux, Apache, relational databases, including the relevant security aspects
• Experience with server-side technologies
• Ability to work with high autonomy

Description/Responsibilities
You will develop embedded software for advanced applications for mobile and information technology industry and support our development partners.

Experience/Skills
Candidates should have a degree in SW engineering, informatics or similar education. You need some experience in system software development, possibly on ARM-based platforms with Nucleus using C and C++. Knowledge of other operating systems, programming languages and experience working on Bluetooth integration, communication and mobile platform is a plus.

Description/Responsibilities
You will define and develop optoelectronic products for short range communication and consumer electronic application, and coach junior members of the team. You will monitor the market, identify important technological trends and contribute to the definition of the company strategy as well as its product roadmap.

Experience/Skills
Candidates should have a university degree specializing in integrated optics (preferably a PhD) and at least 10 years of industry experience in the field of PLC devices and active components (VCSELs, detectors). Marketing knowledge and a good network in the optical or telecom field are required. Excellent English communication skills are a pre-requisite for this position.

Description/Responsibilities
You will define and develop products for the communication and information technology industry and control internal and external R&D and manufacturing partners.

Experience/Skills
Candidates should have a university degree specializing in embedded microprocessor circuits and programming. Candidates should have a University or FH degree in electronics or related fields preferably with experience in embedded microprocessor systems. Knowledge of 32-bit embedded microprocessors, wireless&wired interfaces, experience in development and production of of embedded system as well as experience in HW/SW integration are needed, experience in object oriented languages on mobile platforms utilizing wireless technology like UMTS/GPRS and GSM would be preferred. Good English communication skills are a pre-requisite for this position.

Description/Responsibilities
Among others , your main responsibilities will be:

• Productisation responsibility for products developed by internal and external development teams: identification of production partners, certification compliance (RoHs , CE) and quality levels [standards].
• Define production cost reduction roadmap by optimizing B.O.M., manufacturing and testing costs, always assuring required quality levels.
• Be the interface between development teams and production partners and provide feedback necessary product requirements for low cost volume production and quality requirements

Experience/Skills
Candidate should have several years of experience in similar position. Knowledge of (or engineering background in) electronic microprocessor based embedded systems with wireless and wired interface as well as video and teletext decoding system would be preferred. Excellent English and German communication skills are a pre-requisite for this position.

Description/Responsibilities
You will do schematic entry and layout of very high speed PCBs and then execute measurements in the laboratory.

Experience/Skills
Candidates should have experience in industrial electronics design, as well as experience in very high speed PCB design and experience in SMT.
It would be of advantage, if candidates have experience in high speed digital data transfer and in data transfer measurements.

Description/Responsibilities
You will define and develop optoelectronic products for short range communication and consumer electronic applications.

Experience/Skills
Candidates should have experiences in RF circuit design or high speed optoelectronic design. Furthermore knowledge of RF or high speed PCB design, experience in data transfer measurement and optical measurements are required.
Candidates should have experience in high speed digital data transfer, in digital optical data transfer (MMF) as well as in digital video signals (SDI).

Following position is open for our newly established location in Milan (Italy).

Description/Responsibilities
You will define and develop flash memory products for various applications and on different process technologies. You will also contribute to the definition of the company product roadmap.

Experience/Skills
Candidates should have an university degree specializing in EE or other related qualification and have relevant industry experience in the field of flash memory design.
